What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We generally offer a complimentary appointment to see how we might be able to help and to give them an opportunity to interview us and make sure that we would be a god fit. Once they decide that they want to hire us and at what level of service they would like then we invite them to our online planning portal, send risk tolerance questionnaires, and schedule our 1st planning meeting to start getting to work for them to build a plan of action to address their individual/unique goals and challenges.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CFP (Certified Financial Planner)®, ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant)®, and CLU (Certified Life Underwriter)®, which took me about three years of study and work in addition to my bachelors degree and Masters work.

Yes, we do. We charge a combination of Flat Fee, % of investments managed and subscription fee, depending on the level of service our clients select. We are on of the most transparent companies in the industry and we plainly disclose our fee on our website which you may find easily on our website (we would put a link to it but Thumbtack won't let us place a link here for some reason).
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your due diligence and make sure you're hiring someone that is very proficient in our profession. Generally, I would recommend that start with the minimum that your advisor should be "Fee-only" and must serve you as a fiduciary. Then make sure they have the competence and experience in the area you need advice. Lastly, make sure that you actually like and trust the advisor that you decide upon.
