FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Jordan River Painting, my focus is quality, integrity, and clear communication — and that includes pricing. I want customers to feel confident about what they’re paying for and why. • I charge based on the scope of work: square footage, prep requirements, number of coats, and any special requests (like accent walls or trim work). • While I’ve listed a $100 estimate fee on the app, I almost always waive it for clients who ******************. It’s there mainly to protect time and travel for longer-distance requests — but if you’re serious about the project, I’m more than happy to remove it. Just ask. • I offer flat, transparent quotes — no hidden fees. And if the job expands or changes, I communicate everything clearly before moving forward. • I don’t offer “discounts” in the traditional sense, but I do build custom packages when multiple rooms or services are involved. My goal is to earn your trust and give you the peace of mind that the job will be done right, at a fair and honest price. (It really comes down to communication, aka and you shall receive 😁)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Contact: Once you reach out, I respond quickly to ask a few key questions: What areas are you painting? What’s your timeline? Are there any repairs, stains, or special surfaces involved? 2. Photos or Walkthrough: I offer a free in-person walkthrough for local clients (normally listed at $100, but waived for serious inquiries). If needed, I’ll guide you through sending photos and measurements to build an accurate quote. 3. Detailed Quote: You’ll get a clear written quote outlining labor, materials, prep work, and any add-ons (trim, ceilings, etc.). I make sure you understand what you’re paying for — no guesswork. 4. Booking & Deposit: To lock in your date and secure the team, I require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due after the job is complete and you’re fully satisfied. 5. Job Day: My team shows up on time, preps the space professionally, confirms details with you, and gets to work. I stay in touch throughout the process to keep everything smooth. 6. Final Walkthrough: Once finished, I do a walk-through with you (or send photo/video updates if you’re remote). Any touch-ups are handled right away — no excuses. 7. Follow-Up: After payment, I check in to make sure everything still looks great. Your satisfaction matters long after the job is done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is rooted in leadership, team-building, and delivering excellence through people. I’ve led teams in both professional and ministry settings — from organizing youth programs to managing customer relationships in fast-paced environments. I know how to delegate well, communicate clearly, and make sure the right people are in place for the right job. At Jordan River Painting, I’m not just overseeing projects — I’m creating a culture of integrity, high standards, and follow-through. I bring structure, accountability, and a personal commitment to making sure every client feels taken care of from start to finish.
