My name is Halle and I have been teaching for 8 years. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a Reading Endorsement K-12. I offer private one-on-one tutor sessions that focus on creating a safe learning environment, fostering great relationships, and building self-confidence. I am absolutely thrilled with the progress my son has made in reading since he started tutoring with Special Kare Tutoring in February. My son was struggling to read and I was concerned, with him moving up to 3rd grade so I decided to get extra help. From the very first session, it was clear that Halle has a genuine passion for teaching and a wonderful ability to connect with children. The lessons are engaging and tailored to my son's individual needs, which has made learning fun for him. I've seen a noticeable improvement in his reading skills and confidence. I wish I can give more than five star rating. My experience with speical kare tutoring has been phenomenal. I already see so much improvement in my child’s education. I recommend speical kare tutoring to any parent who cares about their child’s future.

I have been taking my daughters for tutoring with Ms. Halle I have seen a huge academy growing on both of them, Ms. Halle is very professional and flexible with times for tutoring I highly recommend her.

We have nothing to say but positive things about our experience. My 3rd grader struggled with the Ohio State test and we decided to invest in individual tutoring with Special Kare. Halle addressed our concerns and created a catered approach for him which included additional things we could work on from home. After attending, he has passed the test and will be eligible to move onto 4th grade. Above that, he has gained confidence with his reading, writing and typing and enjoys reading for pleasure more than before. I will always recommend Special Kare whenever asked and will be sending our daughter to Halle as well. If you ever considered tutoring for your little one, this is your sign to DO IT! It’s worth it and you won’t be left dissatisfied.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We start with an initial assessment for the subject you choose. I will go over results and give a plan where I think we should start. The plan can be adjusted if you'd like. If you agree with it, we will start our weekly sessions.
