We look for those who have the passion for helping others-if they're just looking for a pay check they can't be a Columbus Assistant. Also, the owners/management team are fully involved daily, so if your regular assistant is sick or out of town, we can easily step in to make sure your service is complete. I had to go out of town suddenly a few weeks back. I had to quickly find a place for my dog to stay. I stumbled on Columbus Assistants and boy am I glad I did. You can imagine my situation, I was in a hurry to get out of town with no place to board my dog who I considered part of my family. I didn't just want to leave my dog with just anyone. I got ahold of Susie at Columbus Assistants and instantly felt better. She explained her buisness in detail and what she stands for. Asked a lot of questions about my dog and his needs. When I explained to Susie that I had to leave town that night, she suggested to come by my place before I leave to get to know my dog and I. When I got home I could tell a diffence in my dog's (Ozzie) behavior then if I would have boarded him at one of those chains. He was relaxed, not tired and very peppy. Susie called to follow up with me about her experience with Ozzie while she was taking care of him. I will never board Ozzie at one of those boarding places again. Susie at Columbus Assistants was very professional and trust worthy. I could tell she really got attached to my dog. I would advice everyone to give Columbus Assistants a try. I am so glad I did.

Dog walking during the day while pet parents are working. Providing pet care several times/day while pet parents are away. Living in while pet parents are traveling, caring for pets and doing house sitting duties. House Sitting Services.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk to and meet with the owner(s) of any company you hire. Find out what their philosophy is and how dedicated they are. Are they in it to serve their clients, or is it just a money maker for them? It's usually pretty easy to tell.
