I love being able to make cats feel comfortable while their parents are away. It gives me a great sense of purpose to help them feel at ease because I know a lot of animals struggle with their owners being gone. I try to look at it as a kitty vacation and provide them with fun activities and loads of attention so they never feel alone 😸😸

We got so lucky finding Jody! Jody did an amazing job taking care of our kitty and house for 5 days while we were out of state. She checked in daily per request, and sent me photos of my cat throughout our absence. I did not have to worry about my cat being lonely or getting anxious because Jody slept over and kept my cat at ease by sticking to our usual schedule and giving him lots of love. When we came home our cat was not frazzled or anxious, which was our previous experience when we'd leave for long periods of time. We joke that our cat misses Jody and look forward to hiring her again when we plan our next trip!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30visit this includes: feeding, litter box cleanup, grooming, playtime and cat diary update. I also offer additional house sitting services and I can discuss rates upon request.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a phone call and learn more about your cat companions! Be sure to have contact info, dates of visit and basic behavioral info about your kitties. Then we can go from there!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a frequent volunteer at the pets lifeline rescue clinic and worked exclusively in the feline care division for many years. I am familiar with all kinds of feline behaviors and have always had a knack for what my clients call the kitty connection. I have a gift helping even the shyest cats feel comfortable.
