My first lesson is free! You can try it out and decide if you want to do more. At the first lesson we start some basic dancing and then I sit down with you and help you figure out the best use of time, money and energy to achieve what you want. I am a ballroom coach, I do not just teach steps and technique.
I love the delight on my students faces, when they realize they are dancing or when they learn a new dance move.

My daughter, her fiancé, my husband and I have all taken lessons in preparation for their October wedding and everyone has had a wonderful experience and learned a lot. Laura’s ability to spot exactly what is “off” and then offer the perfect correction is amazing and very effective. We plan to go back for more after the wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, depending on if you wish to dance socially, do a showcase, or competitively. Or if you want a wedding dance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet them. Teach them the beginnings of a few dances. Ask them about why they are here, what they want to do with ballroom. Then I give them a plan of how to achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching/ tutoring since I was 12, I have been teaching sports of one kind or another since I was 17.
For continuing education, I take coachings on a biweekly basis and perform and compete with my pro partner.
