- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For DJ devices we typically schedule a free consultation to discuss a clients needs. After a contract is signed and a deposit is paid, client will have access to online planning forms and music library. A few weeks before the wedding, we meet with a bride and groom to go over the final details. For a photo booth only event we typically do not meet with the client beforehand (although we totally can!). Details are normally discussed through e-mail or phone call.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a freshman in high school, a teacher from the middle school I attended asked me to play music at the Halloween Dance. I bought some NOW! CDs and did my best. For the past 14 years, I have DJ'd that same dance every year. (I hope they would say I do a better job now...)
