well first appointment she didnt write it down and she was a no show. second appointment i requested many times i dont need groups or anyone who uses groups. Well her first class was just an one hour sales pitch for groups. i kept telling her that is not what my dog needs. SHE said she took an 1 dog training class and that makes her an expert. She is way over fat black woman who even ask for my dog tp be removed from the roomJul 24, 2017VerifiedClever Canines by Crystal's reply
I sincerely appreciate your review. I apologise for the no call no show. I take full responsibility for that. I was driving in my car when we spoke and I forgot to mark it in my calendar when I reached my destination. In my defense, I did advise that I was not going to be available to speak on Saturday when you called. I'm sorry that you misunderstood my wording of a "class". That does sound confusing. I ONLY offer individual training sessions one on one with my clients. I will offer a group class for common issues that my clients are having issues with such as getting aggressive dogs to learn to greet other dogs and people. Otherwise, it's a one one one session between me and the client. I am a 2012 graduate from Animal Behavior College. I studied very hard for 9 months to become certified. Animal Behavior College is a very reputable organization in Animal care. I've been caring for animals my whole life and have had a great reputation for doing so until now. I asked for the dog to be removed because we could hardly speak because of the fighting between the two dogs. I wanted to be able to talk to you first, before making any recommendations for resolving the situation. This was our first consultation. I'm very sorry you were dissatisfied with me and my recommendations.
Though we have only had one session with Crystal, she is professional and competent and we look forward to learning more about training our dogs!Jun 30, 2017Verified
We have had two sessions with Crystal, and she is a very knowledgeable and supportive trainer. Our dogs have been responding well to her style of training, and we like the progression of her 6-week program. She is responsive and receptive to the needs of the dog (and the owner!).Jan 16, 2017Verified
Crystal is training my two dogs. And is not only patient with the dogs but also with us humans. The work she has done is absolutely amazing! I recommend her to anyone!Dec 22, 2016
Clever Canines was extremely helpful in providing my wife and I the information we needed to properly train and engage our rambunctious pup! :DSep 13, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It can vary depending upon distance to travel and number of dogs being trained. I will work with you on a price that is best for you. The initial consultation can start at $40/hr and training sessions start at $45/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I have an initial consultation with the customer to see the behavior displayed by the dog and interplay between the dog and owner. I converse with the owner to find out their goals for training and obedience. The consultation is usually one hour. Then I can lay out a plan for the customer to decide how they would like to proceed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a 2012 graduate of Animal Behavior College in the field of dog obedience training.
