- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated at all I will work with most people that wish to get what needs done but finances a little tight.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I can I believe you should never stop learning, and that is continuing education or from other sources.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
First just find some handyman jobs smaller at first to get your feet wet. This should allow you if you will even enjoy doing this. School, and pick the brains of other Contractors Good ones that credibility should help working for them as a entry level apprentice if need be. I found out watching these days a big one for me would be the Google/You Tube, and TV. I was helping my brothers, and Dad before I was even a Teenager, and our favorite show or one of them was "This Old House", New Yankee Workshop, and later Hometime" those got my motivation going, and wanted to know more. That and Dad taught us to be self reliant/independent, and he always said "if you really want to make sure something is done right, well just do it yourself.
