I had Dayton Painting Group paint my living room and two bedrooms recently, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The crew was nice, showed up on time, and did a great job. This company, when I told him that I didn’t need them to come by and give me a quote anymore, told me that they had to pay $175 just to speak to me on Thumbtack, so basically I was putting them out for not letting them come by and give me a quote, after they were an hour late to the appointment. I told him I’ll figure it out myself, I can paint the parts of my house that need it. Super rude to insinuate that I am responsible for Thumbtack fee on any level. You’re a business, it obviously benefits you somehow because you’re still on Thumbtack, but don’t throw it in my face that you pay $175 for the service.

We had an estimate scheduled for the 15th. You asked me if I could bump it up to today. I said yes and told you between 1-2.
I called at 2:00 and told you I got held up with a client and I was on the way if you were still available. You told me that you were going to paint it yourself. It’s not fair for you to review my company and I have done no work for you and you didn’t even allow me to give you an estimate.
I give good prices. I do high quality work. It’s a shame that you would review a company that you didn’t give even a sliver of opportunity to.
Thank you, I will begin the appeal process for this review and try to make sure you can’t cost other companies money when you aren’t serious about getting work done.
