Best contractor!! great deal and will work with you $$ I hired Greg with “If I had a Hammer” back in November 2016 for a complete bathroom remodel, new siding, new electrical and plumbing and several other renovation needs for a bank owned home I purchased. I tried to get multiple bids from different contractors that specialized in different work that was required but Greg was the only contractor that assured me his company could handle all of my project needs in one bid. I had a strict budget and only expected to get the essentials handled because I knew the cost of each project. Not only did Greg go above and beyond on the bathroom remodel but he did so many extra tasks around the home that completely brought my house together. He literally treated my home as if it was his (a lot of contractors will say they will do this but HE actually did). I have to tell this one example because I think it says so much about what kind of contractor & person he is. I had to have a mold remediation specialist come in for mold in my basement/garage (the only other contractor that I used) and I was unable to oversee their work due to other obligations. Greg came to the house to check on the job and saw that they were doing an extremely poor job. He took pictures of their work and sent it to me. This was a huge deal because I would never have second guessed the remediation myself since I was unfamiliar with it. I asked them to come back and asked Greg if he would oversee it for me. My basement is beautiful and entirely clear of mold because of his efforts. I highly recommend “If I had a Hammer” for all of your project needs. Greg himself is a man of few words lol so don’t let that throw you off, BUT I can promise you he is trustworthy, hardworking and genuinely loves to doing the work that he does – which is a rarity. You will NOT regret hiring him.

If I Had a Hammer did a great job! The tile Greg picked out for our basement floor looks wonderful. They were pleasant, reliable, professional and very good at remodeling. They put in a new sink, medicine cabinet, toilet and floor in our main bathroom. All items they picked out look perfect. Also, they painted the bath, living room, dining room & hallway. We are very happy with all the work they have done on our house and highly recommend If I Had A Hammer.

Greg was excellent to work with. He was amazingly easy to get a hold of. He rennovated my entire house this summer and did a great job. He stands by his work and was a reliable, trustworthy person. He was also helpful with design.

Greg did a kitchen remodel for me including demo, installing lights and cabinets and expanding a pantry. He and his team were finished very quickly, in less than 2 weeks, and the work was professional.

With a very modest budget to have our deck refinished...we were only hoping for a basic deck that was solid and sturdy for our family. However...Greg and his team gave us the deck of our dreams!!!
