FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography is a skill that is never mastered. Even the most seasoned photographers need to come up with fresh ideas. Add to this the constantly improving technology that comes with the digital age we are living in currently. I have to regularly read and research as well as practice what I have learned. I am currently taking an online photography class.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always liked a pretty picture and have had a camera of one sort or another for as long as I can remember. When I had children it became important to capture various stages of development because children change and grow so quickly. More recently I started photographing their sporting events and sharing them online for other parents to observe. Those pictures brought in requests for family portraits and this line of work has grown from there. I really love what I do!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I primarily focus on family, children, and individual portraits. Although weather can be temperamental I enjoy photographing outdoors. There is nothing prettier than nature and it makes a perfect backdrop.
