FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a variety of packages. The base price of $150 is for lifestyle sessions, and that is for a 1 hr session. Weddings start at $1000 for 4 hours of shooting, but if you only need me for 2 hours, then let's talk and we can work something out. Each of my packages are different and include different prints, different number of online images, as well as locations and outfits. Upon booking, 20% of the package price is due as a deposit, and 1-month prior to the session (varies depending on when the session is booked), the package price is due in full. I also offer mentor sessions for those interested in learning about photography, and a special dynamic duo package for two people who are looking to have their photos taken. I definitely recommend looking at the investment tab on my website and exploring the various packages.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography, along with any profession, is a never ending learning process. New technology is released, new equipment, new tutorials, and I am constantly looking to learn more. I have taken college level photography classes for a BFA in photography, online classes, and worked with various photographers for hands on experience. I am dedicated to learning and becoming better everyday so that I can provide beautiful images to my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up traveling the world and over time I found a passion for capturing people's stories. As soon as I got my first point and shoot camera at the age of 8 I knew that photography was everything I wanted, and it would allow me to grow as individual. This job also allows me to get to know people in my community, get to know people like you. I have a passion for exploring the unknown and trying something new, and I love learning, especially about different cultures and approaches to life. Photography is a medium, but it is also a lifestyle.
