- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Totals do not include the 8% sales tax. We offer seasonal specials. Please check out our website or facebook page for discounts. We offer recurring discounts. Please be aware we require a 24 hours notice to cancel or move a booking to avoid a 20% cancelation fee from estimated cost. Of course, we take every situation into consideration. Please note that cleaners will wait approximately 20 minutes for access inside the home to clean on the booking date before they leave and a 20% charge of the estimate applies. We reserve the right to charge hourly for excessively large homes and excessively dirty homes. We reserve the right to charge hourly if our cleaners are having to work around and extend their time because of other professionals (i.e. painters, movers, carpet installers etc.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Peak Maids gives free estimates. This is based on how many bedrooms and bathrooms the customer wants cleaned, or for specific projects we have an hourly option. Once an estimate has been finalized, we ask for an email, address, phone number and payment method (credit card needs to be on file). Currently, we only accept credit cards due to sending teams and we do not want them carrying around cash or checks. However, please note the customer is not charged until after the service is complete. An electronic receipt is then sent to the email on file. A new customer may find us and book on thumbtack, give us a call, or book online!
