There are few things as mesmerizing as a gifted storyteller. This is an elite group, inspired by gathering facts while paying attention to the slightest detail and nuance. Storytellers listen with the intention of understanding, knowing the canvas they create is fueled by process and detail. Mikaela Hunt is a born storyteller, crafting her skill in the journalism world. We had the unique pleasure of featuring Mikaela as our keynote speaker for an Executive Women International annual gala and her story was incredible. Her themed presentation, Reach Higher, was a success in every way. It was most interesting to meet with Mikaela weeks before the event to brainstorm and collaborate the story she would tell and how she would tell it. Her process of getting to the crux of the matter was inspirational! Down-to-earth, talented, driven, full of light, energy, humor, creativity, and integrity, I would look to work with Mikaela whenever possible.

Mikaela and I worked together when she was investigating and reporting about the lack of government regulatory oversight of many Ohio summer camps. When I gave her some background information, she was able to quickly understand the risks to kids and translate that into a compelling news segment that advised parents how they could take action. I work with many people in the sports business industry. Few of them could have grasped the significance of the risks as quickly and thoroughly as Mikaela did. Her presentation and writing style gave the story credibility. If I had a another story I wanted to tell to a diverse audience, I'd want Mikaela to advise me.
