- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you’re not in NE Ohio I add anywhere from $50 - $150 more for a travel charge. This covers my gas, food, and hotel if necessary. Otherwise I price events based on how many hours you need me, as well as which equipment you need. If you need all my equipment you pay the most since all equipment has a lifespan that is shortened each time I use it for an event. There is also consumable equipment like fog machine fluid which is built into my prices as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out exactly what the customer wants for their event and do whatever I can to make it happen. Also I will try to make suggestions that I find appropriate for the specific event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Worked for Live Nation setting up for big name artists on tour. Loved the work so much so I started my own DJ business with an emphasis on creating the best DMX light show possible!
