- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately the only standard is that I don't charge for work I don't do. Other than that, I only charge for what you get.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st contact (respond to request), email exchange or call directly if phone number is provided, schedule an appointment to review the site and discuss the project, prepare a quote and wait for a reply. If hired, we review all aspects of the contract carefully, sign the contract and schedule a start date, collect deposit. Once hired, we speak daily regarding every aspect of the project, including any negatives weather it was discovery or an error on my companies part and our plan to fix it. Upon completion, I make sure the permit is closed out, customer is happy and I collect the final check. Referrals are appreciated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. All trade and product publications as well as industry trends, standards and codes. Member of local and national builder's associations. Networking, etc.
