George and his crew were very respectful. They were extremely efficient and gentle with my furniture. The furniture was very heavy and there was a lot of it. They remained good natured and pleasant. I will use them again for sure.

Clark and Zach arrived right on time and got to work right away. They even helped to rearrange a room in my new house that had already had furniture delivered. Great move and an affordable price!

The two movers I worked with were great They were friendly and punctual and the company was able to help on short notice when I found myself in a difficult position after an appliance repair left me unable to move an item with the rest of my furniture. I would work with them again.

Vigma Enterprises served as movers for my family. It was not a usual, moving from Point A to Pont B move. Rather, my mother had passed away last month, October, 2016. She had lived in an independent living facility and we had until the end of the month to empty her apartment. The end of October came and went and I still didn't have things emptied, cleaned or plans made to dispose of anything. In the middle of November, after I'd had to pay another month's rent, I started searching for mover's to help me. Most wanted to charge by the hour, or even scarier, by the mile. See, since this was intended to disperse estate furniture, it would require packing the furniture in Beavercreek OH, delivering 3 pieces to Urbana OH, 5 pieces to Springfield OH, all but one back to a different location in Beavercreek OH and 1 last piece to Franklin OH. Mamus from Vigma agreed to do it for a flat rate, even after I tried to talk him out of it! Said he wanted to help because I'd lost my mother. The two young men from Vigma worked without stopping, taking care with the furniture when wrapping, handling and transporting. This move did in fact end up taking hours and their pleasant attitude never slipped. They treated each member of my family they met with respect. I realize I'm babbling but we just finished the move tonight and I'm so pleased, it went SO well that I can't say enough. Mamus, you should be proud of your employees. Potential customers? Don't hesitate-this is a great small business that deserves the opportunity for your attention.

Pros - Jennifer was very helpful, informative, and great with communication. Also, they quickly and without question rescheduled our move due to my son getting sick the day before. The guys who moved us were very friendly, courteous, and took excellent care of our belongings. Some of our furniture was very heavy and awkward but there was no damage at all. Cons - The quoted price & time was $625 for 2 men for 6.5 hours. 3 men arrived instead of 2 and the time still went over by 1 hour. The actual price was over 20% higher than the quote. Also, after finishing the job one of the movers threw an empty Mt. Dew can in the grass at the end of our driveway right in front of our For Sale sign. Not a major problem but very unprofessional. Overall we were happy with everything except the price and to have a good experience end with the inconsiderate act of littering in our yard. We will review quotes more thoroughly in the future.

We booked DSL less than 24 hours before our move. They worked with us to make sure we had the correct number of movers for the correct amount of time for an amazing price! They even were willing to work with us on payment when the move took longer and cost more than anticipated. We were moving from a 4th floor walk-up, 2 bedroom apartment and putting all of our stuff into storage for just a few months. We will most definitely be hiring them again once we find our new home. And I will be telling everyone I know about them. And the guys who did our move were wonderful. They moved quickly, despite the stairs and odd layout. They thought about how they were going to proceed before they started moving anything. And they got our giant, awkward sectional out faster than the furniture company we bought it from could get it in. Amazing service. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The three young men, Corey, Marcus and Vlad, were professional, respectful, hardworking and honest. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. One of them, Corey, handed me two boxes of fentanyl patches prescribed to my mom that he found behind a piece of furniture. Very trustworthy. All three were also kind and patient with my elderly parents.

They arrived early and started working hard right away. Very personable and professional. They were very careful and conscientious. They had pleasant aditudes all day with multiple stops and stair levels. It was a long day and made the move a pleasant experience. I am very impressed that no walls were scratched, which is always a problem with moving furniture.

Alex did such a wonderful job when he showed up with his team. They were such strong men and seemed to not even break a sweat while moving some of my heavy items. I have a marble table that weighs roughly four hundred pounds. I joked with some of my girlfriends that they were probably weight lifters in the Olympics .

There is so much I can say about this company, so I will start off with "Thank you for making my BIG move even possible!" Working with Krystal and the moving crew was such a delightful experience! If I had a question, it was answered almost immediately, and no hidden "extra" costs that I have found in the past other moving companies! All my items were so carefully wrapped and packed, I was extremely impressed that nothing was broke, or misplaced, or any other thing that can go wrong when taking a chance on a moving company! And during the actual move, all my items where in order and best of all on time! With such a busy life schedule, kids, job... this was the best and most smart move on my part! And if I ever move again I will be calling this company! I would definitely rate this company with a 5 thumbs up! Thank you to all the crew members and especially Krystal for making my move possible! I couldn't have done it with out you... Thanks again!

Two Man Crew did a fabulous job for us. We had to change our moving date midstream due to my job obligations. The office staff was extremely accommodating. They were wonderful about communicating before and during the move, to keep us updated on plans and progress. The crew was stellar. They showed up early, worked hard and didn't waste any time. They had all of the necessary things to pack us (special boxes, tape, packing material, wrapping paper, shrink wrap, blankets, tie down straps, carts, dollies, etc.) They took time to protect the floors and work surface since it was raining. Despite the rain, they were able to load the truck in a pretty short time. I didn't have to lift a finger. We moved cross country with a 4+ bedroom house (including antiques, large pieces, tools, and business equipment). Our belongings made it to it the new home before we did. They did everything we asked and more. Having moved myself cross country several times, this experience was so much easier and way less stress. The price we paid was easily half what I was quoted from anyone else. I highly recommend Two Man Crew. They went above and beyond.

These movers were very affordable and the gentleman that did the actual move were professional and very good! The only reason I didn’t give a five star rating was they didn’t send a big enough truck and then tried to charge us extra gas and mileage for having to make a second trip. In the end, they did right by us and waived the extra cost due to their error with the truck size. I did find it unprofessional that the owner stated more than once that she lost money on our move, which was not our fault. They are a new, family owned company and I’m confident that they will learn from this job and send trucks that are larger than what they anticipate needing in the future. All in all, we were very pleased with this company, especially with the gentleman who did the moving of our furniture and boxes. Great job!

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
