Stanford University tutor counselor was an overall great experience! The sessions were always fun and engaging and I raise my score by two points!May 28, 2020
Maaz was very attentive, and he knew what he was talking about. He was quick to explain the solution to problems that I could not quite understand. He was always prepared with sheets that could help me study and set up a great process for me to learn. Maaz was always very friendly and, in general, a great person to be around!May 27, 2020
Maaz truly cares about your success as a student. He also finds a way to teach topics in a fun way you’ll remember. Maaz helped me prepare for the ACT and my scores for each section improved. He’s a great tutor!May 27, 2020
I have never had someone explain MATH to me properly. Maaz makes sure I understand everything and even takes time to write out equations, his work, diagrams, and other visuals. I felt like I learned more from these sessions than school. My ACT score went up ALOT, and I felt like I was exponentially improving with each session. Thank you Maaz. I highly recommend you start with Maaz immediately if you want to learn properly!May 26, 2020
Maaz is an extremely hard working, dedicated individual with amazing ACT tutoring skills. His academic record being valedictorian at Walnut Hills High School and attending Stanford University speaks for itself. I highly recommend Maaz!May 28, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Sessions are at a discounted rate of $50/session. With my years of experience, I offer high quality tutoring at much cheaper rates. For college admissions prep, sessions are at a discounted rate of $95/session. Check out my reviews!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? From the first session, the student will be familiar with my process and teaching style. If they are still interested after, we can have sessions either 1 or 2 times a week. In the classes, I cover all the necessary content, tips/tricks, test-taking strategies, and we go over practice tests. Students will be taking practice tests outside the session, so we can maximize the quality of each session with any questions they missed or may have had.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have tutored over 25 kids in the ACT test who have all seen increases in their scores. I will be attending Stanford University, and I recently graduated as the valedictorian of Walnut Hills High School. I have been tutoring students in a variety of AP and College level classes for years including AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry. Also, for years I have been tutoring refugees in many different Math and English courses. In terms of college admissions prep, my information section describes all the colleges, scholarships, and honors I have received. These include acceptances to top Universities such as Stanford and Duke. Full-rides to other top schools such as Vanderbilt University, Washington University in St. Louis, and the Ohio State University. Merit scholarships from a variety of schools, and selective outside of school merit scholarships such as the Coca-Cola Scholarship (150 selected out of around 95,000 applicants).
