Alan and his helper, helped me move from a apt. to a house 18 miles away. I rented a Uhaul, and cause it took so long for my Lender to let me know if I was closing on the 29th or not, all I could get was a 10' truck. When Alan and his helper got there, he took a look around and said the truck is small, but I can make it work. Although it took longer then expected, no one complained. We got stuck in one rain , and Alan did not want to bring in the couch cause it would get wet, so they went back and re arranged one of the bedrooms. They arranged both bedrooms so nicely and neat, that it made it so easy to just make the bed, and go to sleep. They even picked up a bag of screws that I had laying around and taped them to the back of the TV. Alan and his helper were amazing, polite, and extermely hard working. My boss is going to be moving soon, and I'm going to recommend him to her. If I could give him 10 stars I would..........You Rock Alan...

The day of the move Alan and his crew were a few hours late due to car issues but ended up getting a ride and dropped off which was fine. I had a full day of packing and moving planned which would have made easier if we had an earlier start. Alan seemed to be well versed and knew what he was doing, however the other two guys not as much and one of them had to be directed the whole time. This project required a decent amount of packing and Alan's guys I don't think had ever packed a box before. They were inefficient and left boxes partially empty and left some completely untaped and loaded them that way. I had purchased plastic moving wrap, moving blankets and had many other blankets, towels etc to make sure items were protected. We had brand new fabric bar stools I was worried would get dirty so I asked that they get wrapped along with other furnishings. Since I was helping pack boxes and carry I was able to keep an eye on things but occasionally got pulled away for 30-60 mins. It seemed like each time I came back there was something in the truck unprotected. He had my sectional uncovered on its side sitting on the semi. I made him pull it out and put a tarp under it and put the covers on it and lucky I did or it would have been ruined. He had my dressers in with items stacked directly on top of them with no moving blanket to protect it, again I had them redo this. They definitely didn't treat the stuff as if it were their own as they should have known to wrap things and they never even wrapped the stools I specifically told them to twice. I waited until my truck was delivered to write this review so I could see how everything fared...well I had 2 broken shelving units due to poor packing (busted in half) and a smashed wood "play kitchen" that I told them couldn't have anything packed on top of it heavy. On top of that I had several items (8-10) with damage from rubbing against other items on the trip. Overall, Alan seemed like the only one who had experience but still didn't take the time on some items. They worked hard, were nice and put in a full days work and they were reasonably priced but in the end with the lack of experience, not protecting furniture and not doing things that were asked I wouldn't hire them again for the same job. If I had a smaller move with no packing and furniture wasn't valuable or possibly a in city move these guys would do fine but I didn't feel they did great for the long distance move. I feel bad not giving a great rating but feel Alan needs to know so he can either get better help or give some more training for his guys.

Alan and his son arrived on time and moved everything I asked without complaint. They were very careful, making sure the woodwork furniture and walls were not hurt while moving very large heavy furniture. Great job!

70 to 90 a hr is industry standard HOW ever I'm flexible every move is different depending on the size of the move and the man power need to complete the job we charge a 4 hr minimum which is all so industry standard
