- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have a sit down with my client at the gym, coffee house, or any other public place of meeting. I would ask general questions about their goals, expectations, limitations ( joint issues, health issues, etc ), health ( some individuals may need to get clearance from their Physician or Doctor ) how is their current diet, what are they looking for in a trainer, what are their expectations for their trainer?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been Certified through NCSF ( National Council on Strength & Fitness ) for just over a year. Going back to competing in MMA in 2007, Ive learned a wealth of knowledge from all the trainers & coaches that I've had the opportunity to work with. So not only was I being trained but, I was learning how to train & how to train for different goals. I've been working privately with my clients for a year ( outdoors, apartment gyms, & home gyms ). September 2015 I got the opportunity to become a Strength/Conditioning Coach & Personal Trainer for Cal Crowell Boxing MMA, & Diverse Fitness Center. I currently teach two classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. My first class is HIIT Training & my second class is MMA Fundamentals
