Was given a great quote for a basement remodel we wanted to do in a couple months, told it would be 10% off if we did it sooner, so we decided to go with it. First off, the guy who was here with the owner telling us what would he would do in the basement never set foot in our house after that, other guys were sent to do the work. We were lucky if they arrived by 930 am everyday when we were told they would be there earlier.The owner "general contractor" rarely showed up unless he needed to collect a payment from us, asked for final payment before it was complete "so he could pay his guys". Barely communicated after that when found some issues that needed to be resolved until we put a hold on the check, then suddenly he appeared again. The overall work was pretty decent but no one did a final walk trough with us, asked us to do it like we know what we're looking for. We also learned after the fact that one of the sub contractors (who did a good job) he hired was found on Craigslist and left to roam our house freely while we were gone without any kind of background check. Was preoccupied with other jobs and blamed those jobs for his lack of communication. The owner really needs to work on his customer service skills and how to be a real supervisor. I would not work with him again no matter what his price may be. Job site was also not left clean and ready for us to finish, he told us we could finish cleaning up texture off ceiling ourselves. A couple months post project, 3/4 doors don't latch at all after installed, one door that they had to cut down to fit had pieces of the inside of the door falling out, ended up hiring someone else to install toilet and recenter a hard wired outlet as it was off centered from the sink/vanity that they installed. Unable to plug more than 3 items into a curcuit as the wrong size breaker was put in for a bathroom, had to replace out of our pockets as well
