My fiancé (now husband:) Kevin and I had tried for months to plan a wedding and were unsuccessful due to Covid. We decided very last minute and to elope and contacted Jeff at Agape Wedding Services to be our officiant. He was incredibly professional, helpful and patient with us throughout the whole process which involved our plans changing multiple times. Jeff helped us find the perfect spot and talked us out of just going with a justice of the peace. Thanks to Jeff and all his help our ceremony was truly beautiful and we will never forget that perfect day!

I was VERY impressed by jeff! He helped me out at the last minute because my previous officiant never got back with me. Jeff was very professional, helped us going through the steps at the rehearsal and even typed up a script for us all to review! Definitely deserves 5 stars!!! Thank you again!!!

Jeff met us at our ceremony location months before the wedding to get a feel for what we wanted in an officiant. We traded thoughts and ideas and ended up booking him That same day to officiate our wedding. Covid 19 came along and our ceremony location changed but he was still willing to travel the Additional hour to perform our ceremony, for a small additional fee. A few weeks before the wedding, he emailed both of us an email with a few additional ideas and questions to get a better feel of what specifics we were looking for. He texted to get additional info as he was working on our script and also to confirm what attire he should wear. During the ceremony he was 100% on point. I could have never found another officiant as perfect as he was and I will definitely recommend him to all of my engaged friends.

Jeff made our day so special. He was fun and easy to work with, very professional, and wrote an amazing ceremony for us, which included passages that were meaningful to us. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will offer an officiant estimate based on the following: preliminary meetings, anticipated preparatory work, ceremony draft creation, rehearsal attendance and leadership, wedding officiating, travel distance and time. I will ask for a non-refundable $50 deposit when we agree to contract terms. The balance can be paid at rehearsal or wedding service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have some initial phone text contact followed by a preliminary phone call with potential client first. Then I will suggest one or two preparatory meetings in person. I will seek to determine what it is you truly envision from me and in your service. I will continue to communicate with you up to the date of rehearsal/ceremony, staying in touch with you about possible changes or modifications. Then on the date of your ceremony I will do my very utmost to help make your day special, smooth, and memorable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in education (taught for 30 years) and a Master's Degree (summa cum laude) in counseling. This education, coupled with my experience in both fields has given me a solid professional foundation in human services. I am both a teacher and counselor at heart and I will bring this expertise to my work as a professional wedding officiant.
