- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
PROCESS FOR: - RENOVATION AND NEW CONSTRUCTION - INTERIOR DESIGN (keep reading for EDesign process) 1. DISCOVERY To understand your objectives, we ask that you complete our design questionnaire. The questions and prompts help us better understand project details, who you are, what you like, and what you want from your space. In addition to pictures of your space, we also request a Pinterest board that reflects your style preferences. 2. CONSULT Our next step is a consultation on-site or online to gain a deeper understanding of your project and to familiarize ourselves with your space. We will review your questionnaire during the visit, dig deeper into your budget and timelines, and discuss measurement collection. If applicable, we can also discuss establishing a relationship with your project's architects, contractors, etc. Following our meeting, you will receive a Design Proposal containing all our fees and estimates. Once approved, we will send our Design Agreement. *Paid separately from design services and before consultation occurs 3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT White Vase Design begins the design process by creating inspiration boards and furniture layouts. For renovations and new construction, any technical drawings, including floor plans, must be finalized with the responsible parties. 4. DESIGN PRESENTATION We will schedule a Design Presentation upon completion of the previous step. This includes a review of color palettes, inspiration boards and furniture layouts. For renovation and new construction clients, we’ll also cover a range of core materials and products (flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing, lighting, hardware, etc.) as well as renderings, budgets, and timelines. 5. IMPLEMENTATION When the design presentation is complete, we coordinate with trades and vendors until completion. With frequent status meetings, site visits, and open communication, we carefully manage our work on your project. 6. SOURCE FURNITURE & DECOR After the construction or design process begins, we will develop product concept boards to help you visualize your finished space. A concept board can consist of furniture, fixtures, lighting, rugs, wall hangings, curtains, and decor, depending on the size and scope of the project. Our design management software lets you access your board online and approve items or ask questions from the comfort of your home. 7. PRODUCT ORDERING & INSTALLATION Once concept board selections are final, we will take care of the procurement process. We have established relationships with trusted suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing. Our team will oversee the installation process, ensuring flawless detail is executed. PROCESS FOR: - EDESIGN 1. DESIGN CONSULTATION Getting started is as simple as scheduling your design consultation. You will complete an intake questionnaire, send us pictures of your room, and create a Pinterest board before your consultation. To ensure White Vase Design is an appropriate fit for your project, you can ask the designer questions about the design process or your project during your meeting. *Cost: $200 *Paid before consultation 2. SERVICE PACKAGE You can electronically agree to the service terms and purchase an EDesign package(s). Your $200 design consultation fee will be credited toward your package purchase. 3. DESIGN WORK COMMENCES The design process begins. Your designer will send you prompts to complete exercises such as the budget worksheet and review your design deliverables. Look forward to receiving your inspiration board, furniture layout, project concept board, 2D room rendering, product shopping list, and installation instructions! 4. PRODUCT OBTAINMENT Bring your designed room to life! Once you and your designer finalize your room design, we'll provide a link to your pre-populated shopping cart. The next steps are yours. EDesign, also known as e-decorating, is an online interior design service that delivers virtual room designs and provides you with the details, steps, and product links necessary to bring that design to life. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EDESIGN? 1. Visually see your designed space A picture is worth 1000 words. Every EDesign package purchased (sold per room) creates a furniture plan layout that utilizes your room measurements and a 2D room render. 2.
