About this pro

How does your service stand out?

I think one thing that makes me stand out is the attention to detail that I have. Just looking at the pictures of my systems you can see that they are well balanced and pleasing to the eye and neat and organized.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love it when I do a show and people are seeing things they've never experienced before with a D.J. such as the music videos or the bubble and the dance floor lighting.

My wedding reception. They flat out ruined it! His sister was my dj and she refused to play requested music bc it went against her religious beliefs. She announced my wedding party all wrong. She would start playing my songs without announcing it so we all had a chance to get the dance floor. Example:: my wedding party song just started playing while we were outside smoking and we all had to run in like idiots and my maid of honor had left to get her kids so she want even there. My cake cutting song: we were still eatin dinner and it started playing so we dropped everything and took off running before the song ended. My father daughter dance I wanted to make a speech before it played just thanking my dad and that didn't happen. Spend your hard earned money someplace else! These guys are a joke seriously!!!

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to many D.J. chat boards across the internet as well as subscribe to monthly D.J. magazines and newspapers to keep up on the latest equipment and trends.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I don't think my pricing system is to complicated. There are a few variables such as travel distance, inside or outside show, and if there are stair steps involved that requires carrying of the equipment which can add to the price of the service.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a musician since the age of 9 and it gave me the experience of a lifetime to travel the world playing with a band. I"ve always loved music as well as sound equipment and lighting so I gradually got into D.J.'n where I can have more control over all aspects of the show to give guests a fun time they'll never forget.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding receptions are my bread and butter in my business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It seems that all clients are strictly interested in is the "PRICE" while never trying to find out what they are getting for that "PRICE". Clients really need to dig into information on their prospective D.J. by viewing pictures of his set up. He may say he has lights and brings just a flashlight.....after all ....it is a light!! So be sure to see photos of his set up.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Hmm.....We are not jukeboxes for people to program every song they want played. As a D.J. with many years of experience we know by judging the ages of the guests what era of songs they will enjoy and from our years of experience we also know which songs from that era are the most danceable ones. There really is a art to D.J. and reading the crowd and to know when to slow it down and pick the tempo back up again in order to please as many guests as possible.
