About
I am local contractor who started at a young age. I am from Mentor Ohio and I take extreme pride in what I do for a living. This is my livelyhood and love what i do. My work speaks for itself and I have plenty of job portfolio pictures for viewing. I am also a certified licensed electrician with licences in sanitary/ sewer and have plumbers on full time staff. My company is founded on being your all around contractor with true skilled tradesman and I employee 365 days a year. There’s no job too big or too small. There is not one job that is ever more important then the next and all of my customers come 1st and get treated that way. Customer service is my absolute number one goal. My belief is if you pay for something it should be exactly how you want it, and not how some contractors would like you to do it to benefit them. It’s your money your house so you deserve to get 1000% of what you want.
I was brought up in the trades, my father was a union carpeter who was a supervisor when I was a child. He was in charge of the building of Jacob's field baseball stadium and when I walked through and saw the beauty of what they did I was in aww of their accomplishments, and I said to myself this is the most satisfying job that people will enjoy this forever and there’s something to be said about that. So all I ever dreamed of was to be apart of something half as great.

Dave was extremely responsive from day one. He came in as a hero when a past contractor went missing in action. This was an odd project in a 130 year-old home. He was able to not only reverse engineer what the last contractor had started (not properly done), but finished up with a phenomenal looking attic bathroom addition. He was also able to step in and finish an additional unit that I needed assistance with. This was installing a bathroom exhaust fan, new kitchen sink, tile and countertop. I have owned rentals for over 15 years but I treat them as if I would live in them. Dave understands this and his quality of work is top notch. It's rare to find someone that can handle almost any project these days. It's even more rare that they show up on time and actually finish the project at the agreed upon price. I wouldn't think twice about hiring Dave and his crew back, and I've already engaged him for my next unit remodel.
Details: Kitchen • Bathroom • Wall • Tub / Shower enclosure • Floor • 51 - 100 sq ft • No existing material (e.g., tile, carpet) needs to be removed • Durock • Ceramic • No, but I will buy the tiles myself

I recently had a new driveway, sidewalk and 10' x 20' pad behind my garage installed by Safe Guard Renovations. Dave Rogers, the owner of the company is a young ambitious professional. I was skeptical at first because he had only been in business for five years but there is no doubt that he had been exposed to this trade for many years prior. Dave employ's true tradesman, his main concern was to make me happy as the customer. The tear out, install and finish was done in three days. I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns and questions after the job was done and paid for, so I texted Dave and within five minutes he called me back. All is good. I would like to make mention of some of his guys as I said he has some extremely skilled tradesmen working for him.
Mike, who was the senior of them all would spend time with me while I was micromanaging the project (getting in their way) and reassure me that the guys that were on the job know exactly what they're doing.
Shane, is there master plumber who will repair, relocate and tie in all your drains and who also has an extensive back ground in the cement trades.
Som, this man is a bull and will take charge of the cement pour and finishing, complete professional. There are many others but just can’t remember their names. Bottom line, I would recommend Safe Guard Renovations for your cement needs.

Dave and crew did a great job on our side steps and retaining wall. The steps were sinking and cracked, very steep and narrow making it very hard to use in the winter time. The block wall was deteriorating along the steps, with big voids along the wall. The base slab had a crack as well.
They tore out the old steps and slab, and ripped out the bad section of block. Replaced the block, and poured new steps and slab making it much easier to use.
Definitely recommend, and will be scheduling more work on my driveway come spring.
Pictures of before and after are attached.
