Introduction

I have 3 years with daily interactions between myself and customers at a large repair shop. 4 years inside Dayton area schools training staff and working with teachers and students on projects. This gives me a good bedside manor and the ability to understand issues and communicate with the customer so they never feel out of the loop or in the dark. If you have ever had someone talk over your head on purpose you know how terrible that is. I like overcoming obstacles. I like it when something seems to-far-gone. It pushes me to try harder and I like that drive.

Very knowledgeable professional. He will answer any question you have and how he plans to repair your computer at whatever level of "computer-ese" that you are comfortable with. He gave me a timeline including parts he needed to order and had the job done a day earlier that promised. The repair went so smoothly that I took my desktop in for a full tune up and it's running great too. Prices are very fair and he knows what he is doing. I don't think you can go wrong with TBH Computer Service.

Although he couldn't get my machine running ( he did find out what was wrong with it but it was out of my budget), he worked really hard at trying and diagnosing the problem. Traveled to get it and to return it. Even gave me ideas about the best replacement machines. Will be back if I ever run into more troubles.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not really, i charge an hourly rate for most things. This includes travel cost, labor, diagnostic and education. When i build a pc the fee is 16% the cost of parts. So if a computer costs 1000$ in parts then the fee would be 160$ so your total would be 1160$ for a new custom computer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Easy, ID the issues and provide options for a solution. I work with their budget to help get them up and running asap.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm working every day either building or in schools. It keeps me up to date naturally but I also read forums and blogs because honestly that is where all the fresh info loves.
