- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first get to know a little about them and everything about the project they need completed, such as who the intended audience is, what "feel" the written piece should have, and what the project's desired reaction/end result should be.

BA in journalism from Kent State University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like this story! I have never been much of a planner, actually. When I was in high school, I never really gave much thought as to what I was going to study in college. Looking back, I guess I always knew deep down. My first public writing credit came in the seventh grade. Our teacher wanted to create a yearbook for us. (At that time, a formal yearbook for middle school students wasn't provided by the school.) When he asked who wanted to write the book's year in review, my hand went right up. My first published piece!
