Introduction: My ability of reading the crowd enables me to structure the correct music at specific times that results in everyone included in the fun and creates a successful event. I do not use a computer as it hinders the personal touch of my performance. I enjoy taking part in the fun by introducing some tunes and/or speaking to the crowd as the songs are being mixed and I like the spontaneous affect CD's provide me. A computer does not allow me to change on the fly when a certain tune is not working for the crowd. By using CD's I can watch the crowd reaction better instead of always having my head and eyes looking at the computer. I enjoy being able to bring people up on the dance floor and keeping them there. Also, having been a lead singer for most of my life, I understand the dynamics of how, when & why to mix specific genres of music to achieve the result needed at any particular time in any event.
