Our company believes that honesty and transparency are the key to a successful small business. When reviewing our prices, take note that we have NO HIDDEN FEES and our rates include providing a dolly, tools, and moving blankets with wrap as needed. That means we don't charge for appliances, stairs, drive time, etc. Our hourly rates begin when we arrive at your home, and end when we have completed the job. Pricing: Local moves (less than 50 miles) 2 movers and a truck: $150/hr ($450 minimum charge) 3 movers and a truck: $200/hr ($600 minimum charge) 4 movers and a truck: $250/hr ($750 minimum charge) Labor only (you provide the truck and we load/unload) 2 movers: $125/hr ($250 minimum charge) 3 movers: $175/hr ($350 minimum charge) 4 movers: $225/hr ($450 minimum charge) Long distance moves, single item moves, or junk removal: please contact for pricing!

Great move! Just needed a large piece of furniture moved. These guys brought the right amount of guy and gear and made the move simple and fast. Would easily use them again in the future without considering other companies.

Edit: Thanks for responding! I realize now that the miscommunication was due to no fault of Fighting Chance Moving and have updated my review accordingly. I wish that Thumbtack had made it more clear how communication works after a job has been completed. The movers did a great job during a cold and windy day. One mover wasn't able to make it, so I was charged a lower rate to compensate, and I think they completed everything in a reasonable amount of time. They also did an excellent job wrapping and protecting furniture. Because of the high winds, a storm door at the property I was moving out of was blown off the hinges and damaged beyond repair. It took me a few weeks for my landlord to quote me the cost of replacement, after which I contacted Fighting Chance Moving to ask if they have insurance that would cover this damage. They did not respond to my initial message, nor did they respond to my follow up message one month later. I find this to be extremely unprofessional. I would have understood if they had given me an honest response, but since they have chosen not to respond at all, I am leaving a poor rating. If customer service and having insurance is important to you, do not go with this company.

We strive to make booking as easy as possible. We ask a few questions up front before giving you our pricing and recommendation for how many movers you will need. We do our best to respond in a timely manner but there are times (especially in the busy summer) where we may not be able to respond until the evening. Please be patient with us!
