Introduction: I'm here in Ada Ok on family business that will require I be here until March. Knowing I'm not likely to find the type of remodel projects I've been working on I'm content to find small carpentry/handyman type work. I did bring tools with this in mind. Tools on hand One large, one small tool bag containing basic hand tools. Such as screwdrivers, pliers of every sort, hammers, pry bar, cats paw, tin snips R/L, electric current tester and more. Carpentry tool belt, tape measure, 100' tape, chalk line. Power tools: Skill Saw, with masonry and concrete blades Saws all Jig saw Router Power cords New high torque cordless drill, several set of quality drill bits, masonry included Corded 1/2 drill. 5' level Power palm sander Two containers/organizers of screws and fasteners.......very thorough saw horses tie downs I remodel everything from a "to the studs" or just a bath or kitchen. I like working with Ikea cabinets. We also work with Simi Handmade. They offer a wide variety of door options that are precisely made for all current Ikea cabinets. While I am a carpenter by trade I'm best suited 'project manager', fulfilling the duties of a general contractor, using only licensed and fully insured subs. Please note: I'm not a licensed contractor. I do have several choices for a contractor to work under if that became an issue........raises the cost to homeowner. Have a look at the youtube of my Kings Point project. The job was fully permitted by the building department, all taken out by myself as 'agent for the owner'. All subs carried there own insurance that is expected, workers comp, and liability. Every aspect inspected and signed off by city inspector. I was highly involved in the overall appeal of the finished project. I worked closely with a designer/architect, bringing many of the finishes and floor plan ideas to life (flooring, front door, relocation of 1/2 bath, making the headboard wall in master possible by re-routing HVAC supply) For the right project I have access to very good architecture and design, making us truly design build.
