Personal Training

Brenna is AMAZING. I was looking for someone to help me get back into fitness after a hiatus. She has a great background and uses her knowledge to develop a unique plan that focuses on the areas I need to improve on. I can already tell that I've gotten stronger and my cardio has improved from working with Brenna. One of the best parts is that we work together remotely! I'm such a homebody and find gyms a bit intimidating, so the remote workout is my jam. We hop on zoom and she guides me through the routine just like an instructor would do in person. She's great at correcting my form and encouraging me to do my best each session. It really feels like having a personal coach in your pocket with the remote workouts -- plus I never have to leave the house! I really do recommend Brenna and hope everyone has just as fantastic of an experience.

Working with Brenna has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you are trying to lose weight or get fit then she is the only option in my opinion. Brenna is insanely knowledgeable about the body and movements and every time I think we have run out of new exercises she loads me up with more and then explains how to do them and what muscle groups they activate and why! She patiently and expertly guides through every workout, every session and every movement, both understanding my physical limitations and figuring out how we can adjust to push harder without pain or embarrassment. Losing weight and getting fit has to start in your own mind and you need to be willing to do the work, but If you want an amazing cheerleader that will be the pivot point for your personal, physical well-being as well as a caring, knowledgeable professional that highly motivates without coddling or accepting excuses, then Brenna is your best bet. She really has helped me take charge and change my life for the better and has greatly improved my outlook on the future in the last two months. I promise you, she is worth it!

Brenna is a great personal trainer. She performed an initial evaluation of my level of fitness and created an individualized workout program for me (62 year old man, average health). She was well organized and provided a calendar detailing my workouts in advance. Periodically we assessed my progress in reaching my fitness goals, and adjusted the workouts based on how far I had come. Brenna made the workouts challenging and also informative, as she made sure I understood proper form and resistance, and other things. I highly recommend Brenna as a personal trainer!

I did enjoy working out with Brenna, she is very knowledgeable about the body and always explains why I was doing each exercise and worked on my muscle group. She is easy to get along with and very patient listening to my questions. She also suggests me what and how to eat right/healthy to improve my diet. I would strongly recommend Brenna to anyone that is looking to get in shape. She is the best Personal Trainer I have ever met !

Brenna was my rock - as my personal trainer, she kept me accountable and cultivated a relationship where I didn't want to let her down. I sought out Brenna after recovering from breast cancer treatment which resulted in muscle loss and some bone loss. So I had to start over with my health and fitness goals, and me and Brenna did it together. It was a wonderfully positive, and LIFE-CHANGING experience!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    The first session is free. We go through a sample workout and discuss goals and previous experience. After that, we decide what type of plan fits you the best-once a week, twice a week, or three times a week for training. The cost also covers the private sessions, the time it takes to create a program tailored to the client's specific goals, in addition to research, continued education to maintain all active certifications, and time spent providing clients with additional content outside of sessions.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    My style of training is functional. I like to do an assessment workout with my clients and discuss their experience and goals to get a good feel for what they are looking for. From there, I design a program that uses periodization which allows me to progress them in the safest, fastest way possible in order for them to reach their goals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a B.S. in Sports and Exercise Science I’m certified in the following areas: Personal Training- ACE Corrective Exercise-NASM Virtual Training Specialist-NASM Nutrition-Precision Nutrition
