- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer weekly 30 minutes lessons for $120 a month payable at the first lesson of the month. Absences can be rescheduled in case of emergency. I offer an introductory half hour lesson for students under 12 for $30 so that parents and students can get to know me before committing to lessons. Creative projects for film and audio depend on the client's needs. Please contact for a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After contact by phone or e-mail, I share my student teacher agreement which outlines my commitments as a teacher and my expectations for students. From there we set up a time that is convenient to the student to meet and we begin lessons. For students under 12, I offer a one time introductory lesson where parents or guardians can observe the lesson and spend time getting to know me. For media work, I meet with the client and go over the audio or visual work they want to showcase and explain all the options they have to best tell their story and showcase their work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Youth Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University, where I specialized in worship, music, and creative arts. I have been playing guitar since 1999 and teaching since 2006. I have recorded or filmed musicians, actors, live events, and produced music for corporate, non-profit, individual, and religious organizations. I am proficient in Final Cut, Vegas, Motion, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.
