- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my overhead low, and typically save homeowners a lot of money. My price is based on material and labor costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will either measure the roof by hand, or from satellite imagery. Next, I will discuss any nuances of the project with the homeowner, and recommend products and options. I will then prepare a quote and walk through it with the homeowner. If the homeowner is open to sharing their insurance paperwork with me, I will analyse their paperwork and let them know exactly where they will stand after the claim is completed. I prepare all the documents that the insurance company and mortgage company will need to help make the claim process easier for the homeowner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my roofing career in 2001 working for a local Edmond roofing contractor. I managed over 500 roofing jobs in that capacity. In 2009, I started Ashford Roofing, and have completed around 300 roofing projects since 2009 in the OKC area. I achieved Master Shingle Applicator status by completing Certainteed's training and test.
