- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated about it! My sitting fee is $50 for up to 7 people. If you have more than 8 people then it's $75. Large groups (15+) can be discussed. My basic print prices are $12/8x10, $8/5x7, and $3.50/4 wallets. I can print up to poster size if needed. I have access to almost ANY print or product needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We (my husband/assistant extraordinaire/professional sports photographer/it manager and myself) are always reading up on the latest equipment, trying out what we can, etc. Even though I say it's the eye that makes the photographer, newer equipment has more options...therefore more creativity is available. Products we offer also change often. New products such as metal prints and many others pop up everyday. We evaluate whether that particular product would appeal to our customers and decide whether to offer it. Just because we don't offer it doesn't mean we can't get it. If you have a particular idea or product and don't see that we offer it, ask us!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've done photography for over 12 years now. It was a job at first, then I changed jobs and over the years the hobby became a passion.
