Hive staffing is probable the worst company to ever work for. They are completely disorganization, and unprofessional. A word of advice? if you do work for them, take pictures of every time sheet you sign, get copies if possible, or else you will not get paid for them.
Most likely you will work for Carrie, who works in the front office. All personal feelings aside,she will lie to you, make promises she can not fill, and once it gets to a point you are forced into a conformation with her in order to resolve payroll issues or any other issue, she will become completely manic and is not above cussing you out, and belittling you. Not to mention calling you a lair on any promises you didn't get in writing. Just beware.
As far as hiring The Hive for your staffing needs let me let you in on a little bit of the inside workings.
Every job I went to for them, has been a complete mess. They assign captains to each event serving as the person responsible for those who work the event, most have no idea what is going on.
We are sent there to help our employee's out with staffing needs, but there has been countless times I personally was told to lie to employers in order to keep the account with them.
Everything from being ask to agree to work full time for them, when I cant, to later have the hive call in to tell them, that I came down sick or got hurt.
I was told not to let an employer know that I came from Oklahoma City to Tulsa in order to fill their staffing needs, just because they did not want them to know they had no one in Tulsa who could work the shifts.
I only worked their part time, as I too do caterings and weddings on the side.
I quit only after a short time, due to the dysfunction and inability to properly staff functions.
I did not want to be associated with a company that's quality is so lacking, and provides the lowest of services.

Hive Staffing is one of the best companies I've ever worked for. I've been in the food service industry for nearly 20 years and, I've seen a lot of things over time. Hive is one of the FEW places that I feel like apart of the family. I've see a lot of employees there that have gotten full time jobs with highly respectable establishments through working with Hive. They have such a variety of employment opportunities that, anyone who WANTS TO WORK and, stays positive, can keep busy throughout the year working. HIVE is NOT just another temp service that tries to use you up and discard you, they are a FAMILY organization that takes the time to know you on a one on one basis, cares about you and, you're ideas or concerns. They are growing fast and, more than willing to make you apart of their family. There are a lot of things that I LIKE about HIVE but, the one thing I LOVE about them is, that, when I go into the office, I feel like I'M HOME.

I hired Hive Staffing for my Christmas party. I had attended a wonderful event at the OU Embassy Suites earlier in the year where I found that the staff that handled the banquet were all HIVE Staffing employees. Because they did such a great job for the organization event I attended, I reached out to HIVE Staffing and requested to hire them for our own personal company party.
I read some of these reviews and I was in shock as what I had prior experience personally was not what I read. I went ahead on faith and hired HIVE Staffing and I must say, they blew us away. The staff that they sent out to us was amazing! Everyone was dressed in all black like we were told they would be, they looked very professional and EVERYONE conducted themselves very professional. They took total control of our event and made it their own. I had a manager helping but they took total control of the event and just made it happen. Their Captains were amazing and all the staff was very well trained.
I am very pleased with HIVE Staffing and I would highly recommend them to any company or private party planners. They are by far what OKC has been missing here for Banquet Staff Help!

Really appreciate the hard work to make sure our event went so well. John was very helpful in putting everything together for us. He was able to help take a huge load off of our minds by handling all the event related details for us. He pointed out area's in which we could save money, suggesting items that were needed, but discarding other items, which some catering companies push on clients, as unnecessary, even though it would have meant more fees for themselves. We have never encountered a catering company that was so honest, or one that tried so hard to save us money. Our event was not a huge one, with a large budget, but they really took the time to make it work. Thanks again for everything
