FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I am less experienced than some other professionals in the area. (2 years of experience.) I work at a discounted rate. I also do it as a passion, so I want dog training to be accessible for everyone. I charge a flat fee no matter what we are working on, or how long I am with them. I don't want me or them to feel rushed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a free consultation with all of my clients where they can get to know me a little bit better, and we can talk a little more in depth about what their goals are for their dog. I feel it's a bit more personal than a phone call. After that we can discuss a package or schedule lessons depending on their budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience owner-training my personal service dog. Professionally, I worked at a board and train facility for just under a year. This facility was a force free facility, so I have experience in that as well as balanced training with my own personal dogs.
