About
Music has been my passion since I was old enough to tap my foot. I believe that music helps create better people. It helps us celebrate what it means to be human. I started my career in education 10 years ago with a degree in instrumental music education. Having taught over 700 beginning guitarists, I have seen every kind of student and learned how to cater instruction to their individual needs. I continue to study and expand my knowledge today by sharing music of all styles and genres with the community of Oklahoma City. Music is everything to me. I love seeing students experience the joys of music.

Excellent teacher for teenagers or any age. My daughter (nearly 13) loves going to the lessons and is learning quickly. Mitch is a wonderful teacher!

I hired Mitch as a violin instructor and he does a fantastic job! He's incredibly patient and very encouraging! His lessons are well paced and he is very thorough with teaching you proper form and technique. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Mitch is a patient and thorough guitar teacher. He will teach you how to read music as well as improvise in any style. In addition to teaching, Mitch is a versatile guitar player. He plays solo classical guitar and also plays in a gypsy trio and folk music band. I would highly recommend him as a guitar teacher.
