Ricky was very thorough with his quote, offering a great explanation. We hired him to put a dog door in the wall of our historic house and he did a great job. He was clean and professional. He's been gone for 3 hours and we're already talking to him for a 2nd job. Thanks, Ricky!Jan 13, 2021Verified

Thank you Kristy. Just let me know when you want to stop back by and fix your cabinet drawer pulls and laundry doors.

They were awesome! On time, ready to go! All the right equipment and tools, and were in and out in no time! The dog door they installed for us is amazing, and he even sealed the outside to prevent any leakage due to rain! I will certainly use him again! Oh! Did i mention i just called him at 7 this morning and he was at my house, working by 10?!? Yeah. I don’t think you can find anyone else with that kind of speed! THANK YOU!!!!!Jul 14, 2018VerifiedRicky Don's Commercial and Residential Remodeling's reply

Installed a pre hung front door for a Tenant and did a good job but took a while to complete. Ricky kept area clean and was efficient. I would recommend and use his skills again in the future. Tenant was happy.Jan 11, 2018VerifiedRicky Don's Commercial and Residential Remodeling's reply
I apologize for taking longer than expected Gina. Had I have known that the front porch was lower than the opening for the door frame, the size of the opening was to small for the door so I had to cut 3/4 of an inch off the top and a 1/4 of an inch off either side, as well as cut the old flashing that was wrapped around the outside of the frame had to come off so the doorframe could be removed. I would have recommended that we just changed out doors.

Toilet Installation or Replacement
Needed help with toilet install and I had gotten as far as I was comfortable with and he did a great job cutting out the old cast iron flange from the floor and replacing it and installing the toilet!Dec 29, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates may be slightly more than the other guys on here but I promise you will be happy with my work. I also know the cost of having an electrician or plumber come out to your house and I charge less to complete a job then what they charge just to come out to your house.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Since the information on thumbtack is pretty vague I like to go look at the job before I give an estimate that way I can tell my customers exactly what it will cost for the labor and materials to complete the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an associates degree in Applied Technological Science so I feel I have an exact understanding how to correctly take things apart as well as put them back together again. This helps with construction and understanding exactly how to build things correctly the first time.
