- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price per job and I do charge for extras: oven, refrigerator, windows. The extra charge is only when they are cleaned.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the client on the phone or in person to get a good idea of what they need. Some of my clients need weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service. Some want a more custom clean instead of just a basic clean. So I like to ask question and get to know my client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started cleaning residential in 2010. I was a collection manager at a doctors office and I did commercial cleaning in the evenings. My step mom was diagnosed with bone cancer after being in remission from breast cancer for 8 years. I have two much younger sisters and she needed help. So I quit my office job and started getting residential clients so I could be more available to help her with the kids. She passed away in 2012. I ended up loving this job so much that I made a business out of it.
