Totally outstanding. He came to a performance of a dance company that I direct for, and took the best pictures of us that have ever been taken. Five costumed dancers, all of us look very different from each other, and we all looked stunning in the same pictures. That never happens. There's always someone blinking, chin too far down, you name it. We used his pictures as our troop pictures and plastered them all over Facebook, profile pictures, etcetera. There were about five other professional photogs there that day snapping but I didn't even approve their shots for my Facebook wall because they were so unflattering compared to John Ferrantes pics. This guy has been a professional for years and has a four year degree in Fine Arts from a great school, come to find out. Don't know if that's why he's so much better. But he made every single girl look gorgeous, so you gotta love that!!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I like to take workshops and attend meetups with other professional photographers to share ideas and learn from one another. I also enjoy looking at art work in museums and online to find inspiration for my own work.
