FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current pricing system is simple; many photographers have their sessions broken down into sitting fees, with prints and/or digital files sold separately. I have one set price for each session, which includes the shoot, editing, and digital files. My Headshots Session is about 30 minutes and includes 3-5 edited images. This is meant for business professionals or performing artists who need just a few images for publications, websites, auditions, etc. This session is $50. My Half-Session is about 45 minutes and includes 10-15 edited images. Most people will find that this session fits their needs. Families, seniors, couples, maternity, or other groups will generally choose this option. This session is $100. My Full-Session is about 1.5 hours and includes 25-30 edited images. This session is appropriate for special occasions where you may desire more images, including large families or engagement sessions. This session is $150.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client contacts me regarding my services, I will discuss their specific needs and ensure that we have selected the appropriate kind of session, location, and date/time for the shoot. I will answer any questions they may have and let them know to feel free to contact me with any further questions or if they need to reschedule. During the shoot, I try to make sure the client(s) are comfortable with the process of being in front of the camera, often engaging them to encourage genuine emotion in the photographs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Oklahoma in May 2014. While earning this degree, I studied not only photography, but also many other types of art, including bookmaking, filmmaking, and printmaking. I have an extensive knowledge of the way cameras work, the effect of different lighting conditions, and how to frame images for maximum visual interest.
