Blake contacted me shortly after posting on Thumbtack. Set up a time to meet the next day which we did. Clearly explained my situation and provided options with no pressure to decide. Once a decision was made, a new garage door was installed at the planned time. Door looks and works great. Highly recommend.

So, my tenant notified me that they were unable to open the garage door at my rental property. They informed me that they heard a loud pop from the night before, and that the garage door no longer functions properly. I checked it out and observed one of the torsion springs to have been severed. It appeared to have snapped. I took to Thumbtack to find a repair man to resolve the issue. Three garage service companies contacted me about the job. Two were able to perform the job by the next day. One made a very reasonable and affordable offer that I couldn't refuse. I only needed one torsion spring replaced, with which one of the competing vendors offered to do for $275-300. However, Blake, of Total Door Solutions, informed me that he'd do both springs for $350. Seemed like a no-brainer. Blake came over the next morning, on time and ready to work. During which, he alerted me of a few other issues to be cognizant of related to the operation of the garage door. Throughout the service, we even engaged in a political discussion. I love those. Blake was not only knowledgeable in his job, but well informed politically as well. It was a joy. I was even impressed enough to give Blake the 'go ahead' to tune up the garage door and add new rollers and lubrication at an additional cost. I probably could've done well without that haha, but I have no complaints. The garage is back up and running well, and the tenant is happy. Blake did an excellent job, and I highly recommend him for your garage maintenance needs.
