FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We book a trial run appt at my studio and go over pictures and ideas for the brides look for the wedding and also for the wedding party. I make sure my bride is satisfied before she leaves my studio .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my training in Hollywood and I go back several times a year to continue my knowledge to keep up with the ever changing trends and products thru programs like Westmore Academy, Studio Make up Academy and various other programs. I also spent a week in New York training and assisting Linda Mason, one of the most experienced and sought after make up artists to the stars of television, print and runway. Her clients consist of celebs like Eman, Brooke Shields,Debbie Harry, Def Leppard and many many more.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into the beauty industry at a young age. I started cutting hair for friends and relatives at the age of 12. Trusting souls they were. My poor little brother had to be my guinea pig a lot! I even did make up on him! He was young and does not remember. lol. So I have been doing hair for a number of years and wanted to learn make up, but in the area I live there are no formal training academies so I went to the capitol of make up artists... Hollywood to get my training, the best training you can get.
