- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our costs are based on the deliverables needed. Companies that hire our services will pay a day rate for each member of the team (e.g. hair, makeup, stylist etc.) and in some cases equipment rentals. In the cases where individuals are looking for a more basic photography service we provide standard day rates based on what deliverables are required (e.g. DVD, prints, website, archives etc.).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to the latest podcast online, all my training is kept up to date from courses on Lynda.com and I have some GREAT mentors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father put a camera and two lenses in my hand and pointed to the ocean and said "Take a look through the camera, pay attention to the meter on the right and when you like what you see.... take the picture." My father taught me to shoot the way I see and I have never stopped.
