Introduction: Most of the information given in the fitness industry is either not backed up by evidence, or else is just wrong or misinterpreted by those who promote it.
I make it a goal to find out what I am wrong in, as I see updating beliefs to be extremely important. I work to be as scientifically minded as possible, while still valuing personal anecdote and experience.
My favorite part of working with people who want to improve their physique is helping them acquire knowledge, that is, justified, true beliefs. Knowledge is power, they say, and it is important to keep searching for knowledge.
