- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked in the computer software industry for almost 20 years, with the last 12 in management roles. After I lost the game of "musical chairs" in a merger, I realized that what I was proudest of during my time in the industry was the impact I had on my team members to help them be better people.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Coaching is not about providing clients with the answers. It is about helping a client find their own best answers. If a client is looking for me to solve their problems, I will be less effective in helping them. The correct solution comes from within each person.
