I have done a lot of general maintenance type work throughout my life and I currently have almost 16 years of experience in repairing and installing doors as a professional (currently over 6 years managing my own business). I specialize in repairing and installing pre-hung door units, prepping and installing door slabs to fit into existing jambs, replacing weather-stripping, adjusting doors for better fit and function, installing trim around doors, installing door hardware, and jamb repairs. Kurtis replaced five interior doors and one bifold closet door in a wood finish to match our upstairs doors, as well as weatherproofing our front door and realigning a side door in our garage that was difficult to open, close, and lock. Kurtis recommended we purchase our doors for him to install at Parr doors, which was also a positive experience. Kurtis specializes in installingdoors and did a great job installing the doors and trim and dealing with all the odd angles of my 1969 house. We decided to stain the trim and replace the moulding ourselves, but haven’t done that yet.
I can recommend him without any reservations. If you hire him to installdoors, you will not regret it.

Kurtis was fantastic to work with. He replaced all our interior doors (17 total, including swing, bypass, and French) and we are very pleased with the workmanship. He is very knowledgeable and guided us through the whole process, recommending and working with a local miller to select doors, consulting on door hardware, discussing options for trim, and completing the door and trim install. He checked in often to ensure we were happy with the result and consulted us if there was an option for consideration on the door or hardware install. Kurtis is very punctual, works hard, and incredibly friendly. The whole process took a bit over a week and he was professional, considerate, and easy to have in our home through that time. Would highly recommend him for another project of this scope.

Kurtis did an amazing job. Our new door looks amazing and fits the space perfectly. It was not the easiest of jobs as the house is older and not everything was level. Still, Kurtis found a way to make it look like it's the original door. He is super professional and extremely thorough. Would absolutely have him work on other projects.

They contact me, I respond in a timely manner, they send pictures and information that will help me give them an estimate, I review the information and respond with an estimate and day and time, the client confirms or we work out a time that will work, I text the day before the project to confirm our scheduled time, and text again the day of the project to let the client know I am on the way..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have life long experience in working with my hands and problem solving, but I also have a couple years working in the plumbing industry under a professional and installing plumbing in new construction houses. I also have over 4 years of professional experience as a door technician installing and repairing door and windows.
