I have done a lot of general maintenance type work throughout my life and I currently have almost 16 years of experience in repairing and installing doors as a professional (currently over 6 years managing my own business). I specialize in repairing and installing pre-hung door units, prepping and installing door slabs to fit into existing jambs, replacing weather-stripping, adjusting doors for better fit and function, installing trim around doors, installing door hardware, and jamb repairs. I am also able to help source doors for clients.

Kurtis did an amazing job. Our new door looks amazing and fits the space perfectly. It was not the easiest of jobs as the house is older and not everything was level. Still, Kurtis found a way to make it look like it's the original door. He is super professional and extremely thorough. Would absolutely have him work on other projects.

Kurtis did a wonderful job installing my new front door and sidelite.
During his initial estimate, he connected me with a door supplier, so the door was delivered before install day. On install day, he arrived on time and hit the ground running. The door needed to be trimmed to clear the doormat, which he was able to do on the fly. I'm really pleased with the results. Now I've just got to figure out what color to paint everything!
Kurtis is kind and a great communicator, and I'd recommend him highly.

Kurtis is a doorinstallation rock star. Our 100+ year old house had two different exterior doors. Kurtis was able to remove interior trim and install new prehungs without tearing apart exterior trim. The original interior trim was reused and looks like it was never removed. Doors are perfectly square, operate perfectly, and we are thrilled with the results. Kurtis is a wizard! I had wood french doors that were out of alignment due to an old settling structure and he got them aligned and weather sealed in a day. He showed up when he said he would and couldn’t have been more kind and professional. Would absolutely hire him again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They contact me, I respond in a timely manner, they send pictures and information that will help me give them an estimate, I review the information and respond with an estimate and day and time, the client confirms or we work out a time that will work, I text the day before the project to confirm our scheduled time, and text again the day of the project to let the client know I am on the way..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have life long experience in working with my hands and problem solving, but I also have a couple years working in the plumbing industry under a professional and installing plumbing in new construction houses. I also have over 4 years of professional experience as a door technician installing and repairing door and windows.
