Very responsive and friendly, gave detailed instructions for a makeup lesson with a good hands-on demonstration, and was understanding when I was late to the appointment. I feel comfortable applying eyeliner when I wasn't before, and look forward to practicing the other steps she detailed.
The only minor complaint I had was that the many steps given during the session were not written down, but once she understood the need she responded the same day and took extra time outside the session to write it up which I don't think is something she's done before.
I'd highly recommend she give a write-up with steps to anyone she gives makeup lessons to in the future - it helped a lot seeing it in writing, I learn best that way (and my memory isn't great).
Other than that she was wonderful, would recommend.

Deana did my weddingmakeup and left me with touch up lipstick and face powder to get me through the evening. I got lots of compliments and loved how her look supported our boho theme. I can not say enough good things about Deana. She was amazing at making sure to ask a lot of questions, so that she knew what I wanted and expected. She has safe and cleaned practices and was very professional. She was willing to share her ideas, and her attention to detail helped me to have the beautiful look I wanted. If I ever am in need of a hair or makeup artist, I will not hesitate to book with Deana again!

Dee was very easy to work with. She came to our home for makeup and was very accomodating. I sent her somephotos to give an idea of makeup I wanted and she did an excellent job in delivering it. I got tons of complement and makeup wasn't heavy at all. I would highly recommend her

Deana is wonderful! She is very kind and does an amazing job. I booked her to do makeup for my wedding. I was very nervous as I had never booked a makeup artist before. She instantly put me at ease. Deana did a great job staying in contact with me. She brought everything we needed and worked hard to get the look I wanted. I cannot say enough amazing things about Deana!! I offer discounts for packages and more services booked. Also my trials for hair and makeup is very affordable!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions of what look they want for hair and makeup. How many people will need services, time line and location. I break everything down for them and begin a contract to lock in the date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my esthetics license and makeup certification over 12 years ago. I also eventually became a trainer myself in the field.
