About Bio Foot Reflexology and Massage Center LLC

Pingxiu (Lisa) is originally from Nanning, China. She graduated from the Chinese Traditional Medical College in 1992, specializing in tui na therapeutic massage. She started working as a clinical massage therapist for Zhong Yi Xue Yuan Clinic in Nanning, honing her skills and perfecting the modalities she incorporates into her massage sessions today. In 2005, Lisa moved to Portland, Oregon and in February of 2009, she registered at Everest Institute’s Tigard campus to obtain a U.S. massage license. She graduated with honors in January of 2010. She worked for G and L Acupuncture, starting in the summer of the same year. Lisa decided to follow her life-long ambition and open her own business.

Many clients say the tui na massage given by Pingxiu is the best massage they have ever had. She has an incredible knack for finding and fixing problems. Pingxiu learned this skill in China, making her more technically proficient than those who have learned tui na in the US.

Reflexology is also available. It is much more than just a great foot massage. The Chinese usually have a reflexology session done once a month to promote good health. Reflexology is an acupressure style massage. Basically, it's tui na for the feet, yet it has an incredible effect on the whole body.

Pingxiu gives a wonderful Chinese facial. This is done with an acupressure massage that uses 22 different techniques. It's four times more than an American facial. This is why Asian women look 10 years younger than their age. They visit a beauty parlor for facial usually twice a month.

Make an appointment today. You'll be amazed at Pingxiu's skill.

DO NOT GO HERE! We have been here many times at Lake Grove and have enjoyed the experience until my husband and I had hour long foot massage last Sunday. Four times during the massage May laughed at us along with assistant Edgar. First time she laughed was at a cat scratch on my arm... no big deal. When I took off my wedding ring and layed it on the table, May picked it up and held it next to my husband's ring and laughed. During the massage my husband fell asleep, but I did not. May started laughing at us and elbowing Edgar, which got him laughing. This woke my husband up. I saw all of this because I opened my eyes and watched them. Then when we checked out, May handed us water and started laughing again. We walked out wondering what just happened. My husband called on Tuesday to talk with owner about this, ended up talking to her accountant or bookkeeper. On Wednesday my husband felt dismissed about our complaint/experience because the staff denied everything except the cat scratch. I talked to the bookkeeper and relayed my experience at which time we were offered two free certificates at the Beaverton store. As far as we were concerned this ended everything. Until today when owner Lisa called both my husband and I separately to tell us she would not give gift certificates and that she believed her employees. She called me a liar. Then she offered 2 half hour massages but nothing more after I said we would post negative reviews. It was an awful phone call with her. It is none of May's or Edgar's business that we are a gay couple. Our money is just as good as anyone else's. Is this a form of prejudice? Wow, I thought we were past all of this. Awful experience from all of this.

Pingxiu L. from Bio Foot Reflexology and Massage Center LLC replied to this review on August 1, 2015:

I never called you a liar. When we talked, I told you, I believe my employee. You told me, “then I am calling you a liar”.
I first questioned your story because my bookkeeper told me your partner call first. After his explanation, he asked right away for two gift certificates. I have never in my 15 years in this business had a client make a complaint then offer this kind of solution. Then tell me give it to them or face negative reviews or news on TV.
Those who have been to Lake Oswego many times will know Mei. She works six days a week. Mei is our top Reflexology Therapist in Lake Oswego. She has a very limited English skill. Her compensation is to smile a lot to try and make the client feel comfortable. I have no idea why you would mistake that for her laughing at you.
Mei asked you about the scratches. I TRAIN HER TO DO THIS. She must know if it is okay to touch this area. It is also important for you to acknowledge to her this was there before the session. We do this with any scratches or bruising of any kind. It protects out therapists for the client to agree this was there before the session begins.
It is hard for me to believe Mei picks up your ring. I train them to never touch the client’s personal belongings. These things are for you and you alone to handle. This again is to protect our therapist from a client complaining that something was stolen or broken by the therapist. Mei has always followed my rules better than any other therapist.
Your partner told my bookkeeper Edgar never laugh or do anything wrong. He just doesn’t stop Mei. Our therapists sit far enough apart it would be impossible for them to elbow each other. This is why I only offer one gift certificate. Edgar never did anything wrong. Why should there be compensation for a service that was done correctly. I don’t think Mei did wrong, but I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. I don’t believe we did anything wrong, but I am willing to meet you half way. My offer for 1 -One Hour of Reflexology or 2 – half hour sessions still stands.

I have Lupus and first came to see Pingxiu two years ago when trying to heal from a major surgery. Nothing else had worked, and her massage treatments coupled with acupuncture not only helped my body to heal faster, but lessened my Lupus flares. I know go to see Pinxiu weekly as she provides me with the gentle and expert treatment that supports and maintains my body and health.
